I was just thinking about how Saw 8 will probably out in 2017. I really hope they take this as a reboot and do something special with it. 1-4~ were so good, the others were crap. They need to bring their A game bringing it back.

i would prefer a reboot. I refuse to believe jigsaw predicted and had half that crap planned like revealed in many of the sequels. Everything seemed too circumstantial. Still love them though.

I was gonna look for another Goodnight Mommy download cause mine didn't have subs, but with the mixed reviews I'll pass.

If anyone is looking for slashers, The Horror Club blog compiled a list of Top 30 of their favorites, plus some honorable mentions. I've seen most but some are small gems I'm gonna check out.

Totally agree. It was so boring. The trailer is SO misleading when compared to the actual movie. Talk about chop and change. And people actually said it was the scariest trailer ever

Hey fellow horror fans, new to ATRL! I think I'm most excited for Goodnight Mommy and most recently The Witch. Last thriller/horror I saw on Netflix was Houseguest and Before I Go To Sleep. Definitely recommend both! Also, Black Rock isn't too bad? Kind of drags at the end though.

On a complete sidenote: is it taboo to ask on here if anyone would be interested in watching a short thriller I wrote and directed? I don't want to get in trouble, but I'm always looking for some feedback on my films, and seeing as you all watch horror movies, I figured this would be a good starting point?

Edit: Might be considered under spam, but I'm not entirely positive. It is related to horror movies.

I watched The Frighteners last night...it was pretty good..kind of cheesy, but still pretty creepy at some parts. I guess it just didn't age well.
