I bet anything "Where Are U Now" was also offered to her. Those two songs would have been the perfect one two punch for her era.
Now she is circling around the 'Flop Vortex', which is when a singer that depends on producer/songwriting writing camp material starts flopping, which disuades producers and songwriters from giving the artist hit-worthy material (since the artist is no longer a guarantee of success), and therefore makes it more and more difficult for the artist to find a hit with which to make a comeback.
