Omg. If you know who your friendship requests are from, you can go to their profile (on desktop) and select "confirm friendship request" and it'll add them and get rid of the notifications without 522ing you.

I know this is supposed to be a help-request, but I want to make more of a general inquiry.

This was modded, and while I don't care, I am a bit concerned at the balance between picking out what's nasty, and what's just good humour getting lost. This site has always done a good job at that but lately it's been harsher, and why? Do mods here honestly think this post is offensive and are jokes in its vein now mod worthy?

That is a bit much tbh. I don't see how that can be construed as offensive. The Nagasaki Arch is like a pair of severed crossed fingers found in a plane crash, a symbol hope hope and persistence.

I know I post many threads but most of them are inoffensive. Is there like a new numerical limits how many threads each member can make? If so, tell me more. I like sharing my ideas with people on this site and it's somerhing I've always liked about this site. Thanks you

I know you didn't ask me but as far as I know there's not a real limit for number of threads. The ban is issued to those members that like to troll, mostly. Well, given by this explanation, it seems like that:

Thread Starter Bans are issued when members consistently make threads with misleading information or with the intention of trolling and disrupting the forum. These bans are permanent by default, but may be reviewed by our moderators after a certain amount of time has passed.

That's a stretch. You really have to go the extra-mile to find that offensive, and in a forum where there are legit disgusting things said all the time it's like...really?

The innocent lives lost in those disasters were never mentioned in my comment, they weren't the butt of the joke in any capacity. It's about the ****ing arch.
