Which is why she needs to release a full album, not just a full song.
Chances are, the song will peak around the #11-#15 mark like "Unconditionally", #6-#10 if it gets great promo and first week sales and has a music video. Christmas songs don't typically top the charts, but considering Katy hasn't released anything for a while (Ariana's Christmas song was released mid-era, so that's not really an accurate comparison), it could do well if it has one concentrated amount of sales/streams/airplay(?)/promo.
Whereas a Christmas album is almost guaranteed to do well. Katy is a popular artist, Christmas albums cater to a huge demographic and get a yearly boost. It'd be a fantastic catalogue seller and Christmas singles are usually used to drive sales for the album, and not usually stand-alone non-album releases. But the H&M campaign makes me think it could just be a stand-alone release which would honestly be quite pointless and almost guarantees it will be a non-event.
