Pfffff. Even I don't rave about Judas' or Dope's debuts. A front loaded appearance in the top ten doesn't matter if you're gonna struggle weeks after, no matter who it is. You don't have to be pressed to know that.
Who cares? Clearly not Lana as she's just put out what she loves in the middle of the chart week, and that's it. She's not trying desperately to get on TV shows and she doesn't even have a banner on iTunes, what kind of flawed logic do you need to have to expect her to maintain her first week sales? She released a song with zero promo and still succeeded when everyone claimed she was a non factor.
Regardless of her supposed drop next week, the debut is impressive. FACT. You're pressed. FACT #2.
How did HBTB do on Amazon this week? I didn't pay attention to KWORB at all this week but everyone's freaking out about a 70K prediction getting smashed
well right now she's 93 on Amazon which is even lower than on itunes.
Hypotheses (I'm sure we'll talk about this at length tonight during the podcast)
- As Sazare said, this could have something to do with an Apple Music error, where perhaps if a song was added to someone's library, it was counted as a purchase.
- Nielsen has had major problems reporting streaming data recently, so perhaps they've had some problems with reporting HBTB's sales figures this week.

New decade low for #2 seller regardless of possible Lana changes. Last #2 seller to sell lower than 119k is Jonas Brothers’ Pushin’ Me Away in 2008 with 116k, and before that With You at 104k earlier in the year. Buy U A Drank with 95k is the last sub-100k #2 seller, back in May '07.
Why are people bringing up Applause in this thread? HBTB is out of the Top 60 already. it's not going to even sell 700k in total let alone Applause's 2.6M. You guys can celebrate this week though. Not even Dope fell off the Hot 100 in its 2nd week but I'll be perched for the 7-OUT drop.
