Can anyone suggest any trippy mind**** horror films? I love getting stoned and watching horror movies that **** my brain. I watched Shutter Island a few days ago. Although not a horror, it took me on such a wild ride.

Unfriended was actually pretty good. The whole Laptop screen premise was BRILLIANT.

I need something similar to The Triangle.

Triangle and Coherence are two of my favorite horror movies tbh. Both are 9 out of 10 for me.

Has anyone seen Turistas? I think it is highly underrated and uses it's setting really well. The cinematography is absolutely spectacular and it actually has some character development. The ending was very entertaining as well. Most people hate it because it was marketed as a Hostel 2.0 but it only has two really gory scenes and it's more of an action thriller than a horror film but I love it. I hope it gets a Blu-Ray release because it's stunning to look at.

I have and I wrote a short review on it (it's a bit spoilery so look at your own risk):
The film had an interesting plot and I did somewhat like the trailer, despite the obvious ripoff of Hostel teas this film was serving I decided to give it a chance. The beginning of the film was kinda funny because of the the ott bus crush scene had me cackling somewhat, but then for the next 20 minutes the movie really drags and focuses on character developments that don't even really matter considering the characters are all bland and you can't tell any apart except for obviously the hottie Josh Duhamel as Alex and his random sister who he mentioned from time to time. For only a 90 minute film, you'd REALLY except that the film wouldn't have to be dragged out so long except the first 40 minutes were basically a complete bore and did nothing plotwise or characterwise, the only thing that happened was everyone has a meltdown over being stranded & losing their stuff then they decide to go for a random swim. But, finally when the ending comes around when the killer/s pop out and do random stuff the film picks up a tad. But this film tried to milk the annoying cliche of "I'm a bad guy and I want to be a good person so I'm going to do something good for one!" when they made 2 charries switch from bad guys to good, which was kinda sad like is that the best the film could rlly do? The deaths were kinda bad and forgettable, the CGI mess of the cliff death had me SCREAMING and it was so random and funny that I liked it. Also when the sister kicked some ass that was pretty cool and I rooted for her. Overall, this is just basically a Hostel wannabe with forgettable characters, deaths, and tired, over-done plotlines, the only thing that really saved this movie was Josh Duhamel being shirtless half the time which was glorious, also his character was the only one I liked and really actually remembered. Overall, I'd give this a 4, not exactly horrible, but not really good either. It's a fun watch but nothing really good happens until halfway through which is just really bad for a film that is ONLY 90 minutes long. But at least Josh Duhamel is hot.
