People would hold the same views towards alcohol if it happened to be illegal in this time we live in. People living in the probation probably had the same moral conflicts with one another over the fear held towards the drug, just as how weed is bringing up these arguments now because it happens to be illegal at this point in time.
but alcohol causes hepatitis + so there is no comparison

I agree that alcohol is a much more destructive drug, on many levels. But it's good to keep some perspective and to see that drugs are prohibited throughout history randomly.
It's just something that people just have to get used to really. But in my experience, people who use it chronically don't seem to be the sharpest tools in the shed imo.

thats true for stoners but not all. some just play dumb to fit the role
Weed isn't good for you, it's just not as bad as all the other crap that's out there. I doubt anyone who smokes anything regularly has improved lung performance.
If music wants so amazeballs on weed that Id have no use for it. I havent smoked in ages but that was the only positive thing I got from smoking it. Id want it legalized just so that everyone can experience music the way its supposed to be listened to. However, Ive seen countless friends, roommates ruining their lives because of it, so I dont think of the drug in as great of a light as you guys do.
Weed is not a gateway drug at all. One of my sisters didn't try weed till after she became a heroin and meth addict. It's not illegal here in AZ so I'll continue reaping the benefits and symptom relief of my PTSD and uneducated people can continue the benefits of ignorance
