a lot of people don't know this but Mariah really writes ALL her lyrics but since she can't play the piano she has to let another one play the piano and she will tell him if she likes it or not and they will get ''writing'' credits.

Dont worry. There are a couple of opportunities to see Mariah over the course of the next year and a half.

In Dec 2015 she will be holding her annual Christmas Concerts at the Beacon Theatre in New York
In Feb 2016 she returns to Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas for what she hints at will be a new setlist
In Spring 2016 she will tour Europe
In Dec 2016 she is likely going to return to Beacon Theatre, New York.

Now somewhere in that schedule Mariah will schedule new Vegas shows beyond February. My guess is summer and late fall 2016 will be more residency dates. She signed up for 54 shows over two years, she has only completed 17.

I'm not saying anything that isn't already obvious to y'all, but I think we can all take a moment to be appreciate that our fave has been releasing music for 25 years. Some people stan for artists who only release a couple albums before fading away into obscurity forever. Can you imagine if we only had TWO MC albums? The fact that I can have 20 different full playlists for all different kinds of moods/occasions is such a blessing

Mariah's absolute strength lies in the ability to take someone's pain away with her music, with her melodies and inspiring lyrics. I cannot even put in words how much she has influenced me and how much she has helped me to overcome obstacles in my life.

back in school, when i was still in school, i would always write some song lyrics at the bottom of my english exams, i more than once cited my saving grace, i wonder what my teacher's would have thought abt that.

at university i gave a presentation about her - to the surprise of a completely hostile audience - but I slayed anyway.

My life is intertwined with her's.

We are Incredibly lucky and I am so grateful! Even in years when we dont get new albums, we get something: a single, a movie, a tour, appearances etc. She has never truly taken a break from since she debuted and thats how we know she loves what shes doing. I dont know what I would do without knowing shes around or that she cares about me as a fan. I love her!
