Oh my god I literally had this discussion with a friend over Xbox.

It all started as he was listening to Glee (surprisingly) and I mentioned Lea Michele and how amazing she is etc.. Then he mentioned how she went out with that guy who died, Cory.

Then it was like "Why don't people just stop taking it if they want to give up", "Why would you go back to it after giving it up" etc.

I was like mate it's not that simple, stop thinking in black & white.

The curiosity I think. As long as you don't get addicted a little try probably isn't going to kill you. I've never done heroin though, so I don't know what that's like.

i'm probably gonna stay away from all drugs (except a bit of alcohol) as long as possible because i form really strong habits so if i get an addiction i don't think i'd be able to recover :I

I think a lot of people make the mistake of believing they'll be okay as long as they vow to only do it once, only to discover afterward that addiction goes beyond sheer will. That or they feel their lives are so empty when not enhanced by some substance that the high is worth whatever comes afterward.

And some people just get off on taking risks, no matter how reckless.

I tried liquid nyquil and legit it had the opposite effect it was supposed to and made me feel SUPER awake and even almost like I was hallucinating, I began to feel like I was lifting and floating off my bed at one point. never again.

Alcohol is crap. I hate it. It'd be like getting addicted to eating Diarrhoea. Disgusting.
