I'm not sure whether it's so much that we mature or grow wiser with age as it is that our opinions just naturally change over time and the farther removed we get from our old beliefs and opinions, the more foolish or wrong-headed they seem in retrospect, regardless of which actually holds more merit.

Yes, i didn't say it was a rule or there's a level for every year that you gets older. I've saw people with 40 year old doing dumb things that i knew it was dumb, being a 19 years old at time. Depends on what you experience, how you experience, what you learn and what you allowed yourself to learn, because sometimes our feelings blind us. But for sure, the dumb old person was even dumber when younger. Just because someone is not good doesn't mean he/she didn't get better.
