The friends I've made at my new job are 19 yet we get along pretty well. I prefer it.
The 23+ crowd is inching toward marriage/career stuff (aka my best friend who I shared got engaged).
I can make friends with people of all ages, it's just when the younger people start talking about viners or youtubers or teen stars that I'm like...what are you even saying right now
having your amazon wish list attached to your tumblr is so #tragique and tacky i don't think i could ever be friends w/ someone who gets off on being a broke bitch
^ you know when you're talking to someone younger than you and you hear something you would've said during a phase that you grew out of and you just cringe because that happens to me a lot

"I'm mature for my age, I'm not like other teenagers"
Honestly people change so much from 18-15. I want to believe teenagers when they say they're mature for their age but they also don't know what life has in store in terms of relationships, looks and jobs. All of those things change so much in early adulthood.
