This is a true statement.
It even had a single cover and all of the jokes making fun of Nicki's single cover which to the barbz translates to iconic/influential/impactful to hype it up even more.
It seems as though people looked at it and then grew tired of it yet taylor never had that problem.

I remember many (not sure all) were staying up to the wee hours and tweeting about it and even posting in the thread about it.
I was wondering if this was the song that should be the #1 hit but then again I wanted and still want Nicki to at least get one #1 hot 100.

It's a shame because her last era essentially proved that if she was a Gaga replica minus the artistic vision and pushed out Rihanna/Katy/Britney/Kesha rejects...
She could be global for a year or 6 months and then reality hit when she hosted and performed at the EMAs and the song she was trying to push out tanked and her boxscores were underwhelming.

I still say all Nicki needs to do is throw some royalty coins at Taylor and Taylor will let her feel what it's like. to think, anaconda as silly as it was is a solo single...that would have been good on her since she relies so heavily on bigger artists making her songs hits.

Yes, Beyonce gets to attend the grammy's by the way...britney has been invited a few times and just doesn't attend...
All those grammy's should go to a top selling WW artist yet instead it goes to a woman that can't even match much less surpass Britney's album and singles sales + iconic moments in pop culture.
I mean Taylor is able to sell 5M, in a year Beyonce released and album. Adele went 11x platinum in a year Beyonce released.
I wonder why the media darling Beyonce just isn't resonating with the GP enough to surpass people that show up at the Teen choice awards. Received the Michael Jackson video vanguard award years before Beyonce and almost doubled the amount of viewers. Strange
