Jennifer has lots of successful movies without relying on huge franchises. And given her films are generally rom-coms, it's kind of obvious they'd have a male actor too. That doesn't change the fact Angelina, it seems, has no classics

Yeah, Jennifer has had succesful movies. But none of them is iconic. Don't even try to tell me they are 
Meanwhile, Jolie has Lara Croft, which is an iconic role. Yeah, it's part of a franchise, but the OP simply asked if she had an iconic role, didn't he?
So yeah, she has. The whole "Friends is more iconic!!1"' is pointless, because that's not even the question of this thread
So, OP, you got your answer. Pretty much everyone on here agreed she has had at least one iconic role expect you.

Angelina got her role as Lara Croft when she was still a C-list actress though. Plus her dad was in the film too

Like I've said a thousand times before Maleficent which was carried by Angelina alone grossed more than 700mil WW. And no, that's not because Disney's logo attached to the posters or because Maleficent is iconic character.
Does Jennifer have a movie in which she's a lead with a bunch of not that famous actors with a gross more than 100mil? Why is Friends is the only bragging point? The show never was about Jennifer alone, lol

i dislike her so much... but i like her best in Girls Interrupted...the role she won an oscar for. her career went pretty much j.lo-esque downhill from there.

Those two were the only big films she had before Tomb Raider and one of them was barely successful given how big the budget was. You can argue if it's iconic or not but it's pretty much no secret she got the role of Lara Croft purely through her looks/nepotism (her father, an established, successful actor was in the film also)

Tomb Raider existed before Angelina landed the role, Tomb Raider is iconic yes, Angelina's role? No
Same with Maleficent.
No one even talks about Salt or Girl Interrupted lets be real.
I think her most iconic role is Mr & Mrs Smith, but unfortunately that's not on the same level as the roles mentioned in the OP.

What is iconic about Maleficent herself?  I'm pretty sure not everyone will be able to tell a name of the witch who dragged Sleeping Beaty with pills (lol). Stop with that crap.
I mean Cinderella that is about much more iconic and very well known character couldn't outsell the movie about some witch with horns.
Maleficent is Angelina, it's success because of Angelina. Just deal with it

Maleficent is forgotten and a new film from Disney unlike Cinderella which was a re-boot. A more apt comparison would be Frozen, which was much more successful, had much more impact and is much more remembered than Maleficent

I agree, plus the film itself isn't remembered, it's more iconic for the fact that was when Angelina stole Jennifer's husband

Can you provide us some evidences, plz? Like all you say is 'forgotten this', 'forgotten that'. Unfortunately we can't consider your opinion as a fact.
And you can't use animated movies, sorry. It doesn't work that way 
Oh, and don't forget that Maleficent was predicted to flop by everyone. Every big publication was saying that the movie won't be success and Angelina can't do anything with that. You know what happened next
