I'll just leave my response here: Honestly, her music just seems to be mostly production to me. I liked her for a bit (probably because of hype), but found her music actually had very little actual substance.
Everything she does just seems to just operate on the surface to create an artistic aesthetic without actually representing or meaning anything. Everything she does seems to just be weird for weirdness sake, easily digestible weirdness for people to call unconventional art.
tl:dr SYG version: I hate FKA Twigs, I can now see why people hated on Gaga now for being style over substance for so long.
