The hour of downtime I've just had thanks to the good sis 522 has led me to the conclusion that Dolly Parton is ATRL's most under-appreciated legend.

She's a successful businesswoman (owns a theme park). She's an acclaimed actress (Oscar + Tony noms). She wrote one of the biggest hits of my lifetime (I Will Always Love You). She's iconic (for her breasts, if nothing else). She's a gay icon ("Christians who hate gays go to hell"). She's got a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award, and two songs in their Hall of Fame. She's recieved a Living Legend Medal from the Library of Congress for her significant contributions to American culture, and a National Medal of the Arts (aka the highest honor the US government gives entertainers).

But ATRL sleeps on her like no other. Because she's old? Because she's country? Who knows.
