i agree in having the same legal rights so im fine with thus us ruling but we already had all that so i don't see the point

Whenever there is a binary, there will be one that is privileged. If we allow gays to be put into a separate category for marriage there WILL be other discrimination. It is a simple fact. You cannot have them separate and expect them to be treated equally by society. It doesn't work that way.

but we had it for 7/8 years and as far as i an most people could see it worked the same in principle
the reason that those binaries are like that is because there is still classism and racism that's big. homophobia really isn't an issue here other than walking corpses and words like f** which most people don't use to actually mean gay, it's just an insult.
