Maybe because bubblegum pop isn't a thing where I'm from. Britney doesn't crossover. If u don't listen to pop stations how would u know about her music?

And an ATRL poll matters in what world?
Just ATRL.
CIL is the clear answer. Check the stats, check 50 Shades, and check the Superbowl.

Your failed logic is always so amusing! Always saying stupid things just to get a rise out of the Hive.

That's why it has a bigger stats
I feel like her whole career has been so forced and she doesn't let things happen organically. It's always some calculated strategy behind everything to make her look bigger.

Why is Crazy in Love selling more than the other in 2015 with NO performances and it streamed more the last months without any performances or promotion?
Give me the logic that you though performances from 2013 and 2014 somehow effect a song 2 years later. If it wasn't as remembered them soon as the promotion stopped the songs activity would fall back to irrelevance correct?

CIL was chosen to be a Soundtrack song to one of the biggest movies this decade because it's a classic. This hasn't happened with Toxic or Britney.
Glad we have realized this, and add it to why CIL is the bigger classic in present.

— One of the biggest movies this decade wanted CIL to be their Soundtrack song because it's a remembered classic.
— NFL wanted her to perform the classic to 100 million people at the Super Bowl because it's a remembered classic from an artist with many classics and huge success.
Thanks for reminding us Trent.

The massive success, the massive acclaim, the awards.
It's insulting to even compare a throwaway modest hit like Toxic to this classic.

1. You trying to say CIL is remembered only by the Urban audiences is false because it still gets spins on Pop, Rhythmic, and AC stations - which Toxic does not. Toxic doesn't get plays on any format so if you think saying, "CIL is remembered by the urban community i guess" is an insult think again.
2. The same could be said for Toxic really, Britney doesn't have a remembered move or dance routine. Beyonce has two.
3. Toxic did not pave the way or start any trend musically. Beyonce started the horns trend that lasted until 2007 really. Toxic was dance pop/edm - which didn't pop off until 2009 - thanks to Gaga and BEP. Britney later jumped back on that trend in 2011 but unfortunately she still wasn't ab;e to shift 1M copies of that album.
4. So to wrap this up Crazy in Love has more: - Views
Sales
Recurrent Sales
Covers by unknown and major artists
Airplay
and etc.
You can give any cockamainey reason the list above is, it doesn't matter.

Most of these, if not all, are CIL. It doesn't matter if you want to rationalize why this is the case or not, it is the case and so CIL is more remembered.

CIL
CIL
Toxic
Toxic
CIL
Which song has shifted more copies? Toxic
Which song has been on higher selling albums? Toxic
Which song had more impact on the climate of music? Toxic
"Crazy In Love" is iconic, yes, but it played second fiddle to "Toxic" for a reason.

Hunny we're discussing what matters in the real world, among the GP, not among stans on ATRL, and Brit stans can't seem to take their stan glasses off.
The receipts don't lie.

Her label was paying Clear Channel aka Payola. When she chose Pepsi Clear Channel ended all of their deals with her. They stopped accepting her and the label's payola. Beyonce chose Pepsi but didn't lose out on her single and radio success because she didn't need several deals to get her singles going. People naturally requested and bought them.
So again, Poor Army

This.
Toxic started a revolution all over the world and changed the way that we, as a civilisation, as an entity and as a modern society function, think and feel.
Toxic wins by default.
