Alright thanks. I don't mind some weight gain considering I'm quite underweight. I just don't want it to have some long term effect with slowing down my metabolism, which I doubt would happen but sometimes I just need reassurance other than my own to drown out my paranoid side.

Pads get such a bad rep. I don't see how it's any more gross than having a puffed up sponge full of blood sitting inside you. It's still blood and it's still there until you take it out/off.

Never done it but I'd definitely use it if I had a small brush but no liner around. I would not use the wand.

I was so against pads in the beginning, I dove straight into tampons once I started. Hated walking around school always being paranoid if there's a big red spot on my butt. Love them more now and they're great for lazy days, lol.

tampons never worked for me because i would always get dry and itchy inside when i used them? hated it.

i find the lady cups intriguing because it doesn't require changing when i'm out and about.

I feel for you, that's awful It used to happen to me all the time and I always felt so insecure and worried I'd get my period at an inconvenient time/place. I've never had a regular period and eventually ended up going on the pill because of it.

Yeah pads are fine. They don't feel like diapers to me. Maybe you can feel them for the first few minutes you have them on but after about half an hour I forget about it.

they are both gross imo
blood i dont mind at all but i have to change my pad so often cos i cant stand sitting in old blood

pads are so easy but i do have a heavy flow so i get worried sometimes if i cant change it as often as id like
i have always been curious about the cups too...anyone here use them?

same, i'm very tight down there (tmi i guess, sorry) and also when i was out i was so grossed out because hands are dirty and you can't always disinfect them so i try to avoid touching myself with dirty hands.

i've actually talked to a lot of people and all of them loved the cups. they say it's very comfortable and you can't feel it at all. you only need to empty it at the end of the day and clean it and you're done.

however it does irk me a bit, like what if i lay down, does all the blood just run back into the uterus. because if it does

but yeah, pads all the way for me i guess. as i like to say, once a month my ***** is queen and she gets to sit on an extra cushion.
