she went after them because Mona told Cece in Radley the girls were happy ali was dead/gone, so basically it was Cece torturing 4 teenage girls for years because they were pleased their bitchy manipulative friend was out of their lives 
Marlene has quite clearly pulled half of this out her ass, does anyone else remember during the S4 premiere when everyone was asking who black widow was and Marlene was like "she's endgame" how the **** are gonna make a character introduced 9 episodes before you wrap up a mystery with no motive WHATSOEVER endgame

I've been watching this show since the pilot and honestly, I actually really liked this finale. I never in a million years thought it was Cece (i legit thought it was either aria or hanna playing my dumb ass). It was a mess as usual but I really did like this finale. I'm just glad this part of PLL is over with and that with the time jump, there's juicier stuff to handle.

No she went after them at first to draw out Ali (even though already knew she was alive, hello plot hole), then became addicted to the game

I actually liked this episode, the only thing I'm not happy with is the reveal
that Shower Harvey was Black Widow & Red Coat
Like WTF?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first, I was so sure that it was gonna be Melissa and then I thought it actually was her, but then I squinted and saw that DRY PASTY BITCH'S FACE. Ugh.
Glad we got answers to the night of Ali's murder though, along with some others. But why did Bethany kill Mrs C? Like what was that. Absolute M E S S at Mona suddenly being like "oh yea guys btw i killed that bethany bitch bye lol". Like, you went through 6 seasons and didn't think it was worth mentioning until now?!?!?! And the whole "jason didn't see me + melissa that night!!111".
ALSO I knew that Marlene mother****ing bitch would leave one big question unanswered. Pretty sure that Bethany killed Mrs D, though.
Oh well. I'm perched for S6.
