I mean, Stand Your Ground is ATRL's way of making the rest of ATRL usable. Kworb and those other mods and admins understand how bad things got before No Holds Barred initially got put into place. Every damn thread talked more about personal drama and opinions about the things the OP liked instead of about the content of the subject. Things had to change, and I was one of a handful of people that didn't want moderators to just go around and ban everyone, delete everything. Because when people in this community get along, or at least disagree respectfully, awesome conversations can be had.
The best part about Stand Your Ground is that, theoretically, it keeps all of that stuff in SYG. Though I get the feeling, the way that people derisively refer to SYG, that arguments that start in SYG don't stay there and **** gets out of control.
