LMAO. One is #10, the other #11, WHAT-EVER. To me, a song isn't a hit or a flop only based on its run. It depends on what people were expecting from it. A Mariah 1st single should have gone Top 5 at least. Same for a song, so-called official ( ) 1st single, that features Justin Timberlake. Obsessed still has time though.
Anywayz, for what matters, I do think LSM was more succesful than Obsessed. SO FAR.

But this is MARIAH. Lady GaGa was an unknown when "JD" first came out and then suddenly it happened for her. Mariah Carey's singles drop and should become hits instantly, just like Britney's, Beyonce's, Madonna's and Rihanna's.

Good point, but doesn't Mariah always release her singles to radio about a month or two before it goes on iTunes? She didn't do that with Obsessed, maybe that was a problem with it? But yes, Mariah should be getting a right away hit, but you can't do it EVERY time haha Not even mariah.
I can see where some, or most lol, of yall are saying "Obsessed" is flopping b/c Mimi's 1st and 2nd singles are usually set up to go straight to #1, but technically it's not a flop...debuting at #11 with a video just premiering isn't bad at all...it's kinda like Kelly C's "Never Again", some people call it a flop though still going #9 and going gold...tit for tat i guess
