I recently started listening to oldies and mixed-AC stations, and it's really clears up which pop songs are likely to stand the test of time. You hear artists like Pink and Katy Perry all the time. I've heard some of Gaga's lesser hits, like Alejandro, numerous times, but never Poker Face, Just Dance, Bad Romance. I hear Single Ladies, Halo, Irreplaceable, Crazy In Love. Plenty of old Avril Lavigne, Adele, etc.
I have never once heard a Rihanna or Britney song after about 5 months.
Taylor is inscrutable. She's played more than all of them, but it's her current singles. At least her country hits are a safety.
I was on a road trip and the pop stations played Paparazzi so many times considering how old it is
So what if Britney is under 'lifetime conservatorship' (so obviously untrue; do NOT believe tabloids like TMZ)?
Her début album has still sold more copies than Beyoncé's entire solo discog. Still.
MR, how did you like Jenny Hval's album? I actually like that song called The Battle Is Over by her
I love it. It's one of my favorite releases this year. I think the album (sexual lyrics, her description of album as soft dick rock) would make much more sense live cause she's known for her art performances.
Give "Sabbath" a try and if you like it, listen Apocalypse, girl in full.
fff,s;'; Help @ "put her father to work" She didn't put him to work, the California court system appoint him because she is unable to care for herself like a normal adult. Britney also has a personal conservatorship, so get that "taking care of her finances" mumbo jumbo out of here. Acting as if he's a normal accountant
