I was thinking, what if #LG5 would go for a Asian Pop sound and visual. It'd be interesting to see Gaga lyrics combined with J-Kpop their catchy production and video aesthetics. She didn't get those random Asian girl groups to open for her for nothing right? Maybe it's a hint, I'd stan hard for Gaga-sama ha reinvention

NO. I seriously would be disappointed if she went full-out jpop. I don't think that aesthetic works for Gaga. Gaga is way too adult for lolita-esque stuff. Same applies for kpop, its a bit too youthful for Gaga herself.

Anyway J-pop isn't always about sounding like a 7-year-old, Gaga her theatrical vocals wouldn't have worked. I was thinking about a surprise sound maybe. I want cute sounds from Gaga, not more rock or slow songs that make me yawn
I don't think she would do anything with an Asian aesthetic because then people would say "Oh Gwen Stefani is back in full swing - ha 10 year anniversary?"
Gaga loves Japan so could she be a secret weeaboo? She named her new dog a Japanese name, donated money after the earthquake in 2011, made some random life-size dolls in Japan, was wearing that anime G.U.Y wig for a while, always promotes more in Japan than any other countries, had a weeaboo-ish looking tour outfit, etc. A J-pop era could have worked for her, even if #LG5 flops and she becomes indie , Japan would still support her because she's probably their most favorite Western act already.
