This, though. Darkest season yet, based on what they're saying, and it has an ENSEMBLE CAST, which I've been BEGGING for. No more Sarah/Jessica Horror Story

Maybe cause i've never watched that show.
Does a non-gaga fan think is a good idea?
I may not count because all the Monsters think I'm a Gaga hater (I'm not; I just enjoy trolling the Monsters and sometimes I have very strong feelings about her ****ups), but at first, I genuinely didn't think it was a good idea. Now, I'm more indifferent to it, but I still think it's risky cuz she's not familiar with acting and what little roles we have seen her in either weren't serious or were subpar.
Coven was the best up until the end; the last 2 episodes brought it down, and were really, really bad because of plot holes and poorly wrapping things up and destroying development that was made in the first 11 videos.
Asylum should be the best, by default, because it's the only season to fully wrap things up in a good way and have a complete story arc throughout. It also was just plain amazing.
Murder House was kind of average for me. I loved it, but it pales in comparison to Asylum and Coven.
Freak Show, however... Was a roller coaster, and a bad one. It had great shining moments (Episodes 8-10, which were all FANTASTIC), but then terrible ones, too (episodes 11-13). It lacked coherence, plot, creativity, good writing, and just about anything you need for a good TV show. Also has some of the worst acting in the show's history (Emma as Maggie, Gabourey Sidibe as Regina Ross, and Neil Patrick Harris' shoehorned role).
I'm concerned about Gaga's acting skills (or lack thereof). I just hope someone reminds her that it isn't one of her MVs & that she needs to tone it down on the dramatics.
I don't get why some Gaga fans are so against her doing AHS. We are going to be able to see her weekly, working with professional directors, a professional crew, great known actors & with a great role for her.

AHS is ALL about the dramatics, she will fit right in.
About to watch this Kristen Wiig film on Netflix, Welcome to Me. No idea what I'm getting into.

Um, but not in the way we've seen from her.
The actors who eat up the scenery the most are Angela Bassett, Denis O'Hare and Frances Conroy. It's always fantastic from Franny, it works half the time with Angela, and Denis is best when he's more toned down.

To me this is like the best Gaga news in years.
The main reason why I'm against her doing this show is because I'm not a fan of the show. I think its uninteresting.
I would've preferred for her make her small screen debut for a different, more promising show, with someone other than Ryan Murphy steering the ship.
AHS is excellent if the plot is good. The actors always make up for whatever is missing but the show really shines when it has everything together. See Sarah Paulson's legendary performance as Lana Winters in Asylum. Amazing up until the very end.

Gag better WATCH herself.
Myrtle Snow looks like something out of the ARTPOP era.
Also any Gaga fan being "concerned" about her acting skills when our stupid fave cannot go any lower than what she did during the ARTPOP era.
Who cares if she's not a good actress, most of these other untalented pop-stars are not good singers/dancers/performers and they still entertain us.
But if she's bad, she's about to embarrass herself in front of a whole new set of people who already watch AHS, and she'll embarrass one of the biggest TV producers more than he embarrasses himself.
Though, if she's bad, that's Ryan's fault for casting her as some stunt gig. She's not an actress.
Freakshow is worth watching because of the acting. Like. This is one of the best experiences GaGa could ask for as a (possibly) promising actress. It's a fun arena, Academy Award winners and nominees being your co-stars, a light script, friendly and at ease atmosphere. It's a good place for her to get her start.
