Yeah logically based on gamefreak, ha greediness, they would make 2. And obviously if u make 2 you would sell more 2 > 1 understand? We cant say for now anyway. MY predictions are in 11/13 days we'll get a trailer at worlds. They always reveal something substantial there. And next months Corocoro will reveal the the specific details of that trailer. (they've already stated more details on the shadow figure in next months.)
I also highly doubt there will be new pokemon that aren't related to Zygarde. We are closer to gen 7 than 6 if they release new pokemon it could derail the hype for 7. New mega evolutions are likely. It was such a smart marketing decision to introduce ME.
They also blocked out a figurine in a merch preview recently and stated "New Pokemon". This has been done many times with a 50/50 chance on new pokemon. But this one specifically states "new pokemon" underneath. The merch is releasing within the month. So you need to realise no one cares for that other pokemon game. Consider you may be the minority.
Then again these are all assumptions. So believe what you want. I suggest you stop watching tyranitartube or tamarashi speculation videos. They do it for views.
They do this JUST INCASE they decide to be hardworking and make a better game. They don't most of the time. Look at Gen 6.
