I see endless essays coming from only one stanbase, anything more to say...
Well, as a Madonna stan, you should know more than anyone about Gaga's impact. I mean, Gaga basically killed your fave's long ass career. Her last hit album was in 2008 (Hard Candy) and her last true hit was in 2009 (Celebration). Not to mention her tour grosses are declining despite the market for tours growing. Guess who blew up the same year your fave started to massively decline? Ding-ding-ding!
If we're talking about longevity then Beyoncé, of course! It is unfair to judge both artists by their impact on pop culture.
Would you have a bigger impact on pop culture if you, yourself, were not part of it?
However, Lady Gaga's arrival in 2008 had not only her contemporaries going Gaga but female artists too! Let's take a closer look:
A very distinct shift in fashion from 2008 until 2013 - suddenly everybody began channeling "daring couture"! Everybody jumped off the bandwagon (five years later, yikes!) however Lady Gaga remains biggest and most daring artist in recent years, all while staying true to herself.
Lady is, deservedly, taking a break from pop culture and bringing her upcoming album to life, having impacted pop culture to a grander scale in seven years compared to Beyoncé's twelve.
Some of them started dressing weird before Gaga even released Just Dance.
I say it's a tie. Gaga's influence has faded a lot this past years, yet Beyoncé has been constant, but not close as Gaga's 2010/2011.
Why am I seeing Bey fans in here berating Gaga for declining since her meteoric peak (which, for the record, was so much bigger and more impressive than their fave's to the extent that it's unfair in LG's behalf to even compare them)?
Did Beyoncé's last two albums combined reach IASF's total ww?
You can't attack Gaga with sales receipts only to inform us on how commercial success is 'irrelevant!' and 'has nothing to do with impact!'
Get it together.
I think their point about Gaga's decline is that she's declined a lot and very quickly with every era (at least by 50% in sales every era), which Beyonce has never experienced
She really didn't. A lot of pop acts were already dressing •weird• outfits and BEP introduced dance/electro-pop into mainstream radio but OK.
Just Dance came out in 2008 before Boom Boom Pow though and BEP weren't doing dance/electro-pop before then. Also, Gaga popularised dressing "weird" and her outfits were a cultural phenomenon but OK.
Is this a serious question? Gaga reinvented pop music in 2009. Longevity =/= impact.
This.
No pop star since Britney had impacted pop culture as much as Gaga.

Why all else would she lock up the biggest producers & songwriters in the industry in her mansion for an entire month? Now, she's not THAT desperate like a Katy or a Nicki who would sell one of their parents to Dr. Luke for a smash hit, but she definitely cares about them hits. Just because she's incapable to score one and she acts unbothered doesn't say much.
To create music.
You know, one day, when you age, you will understand that "artists" stop caring so much about hits, and more about making music that they love and are proud of. Beyonce is over 30 years old and has had 9 #1 hits (DC included). She has been there done that. Let her create and put out music the way she wants. She seems happier now than she did when she was throwing out #1 hits back to back.

Monsters acting like people weren't dressing ''weird/quirky'' before she even debuted.
Rihanna, Katy, Beyonce etc all were doing it before her she just happened to make it explode and took the opportunity and ran with it but she didn't start a phase that has already been here. They swear everything after 2010 she created.
