A mess at him always complaining about Monsters (literally, that's all he does in Stand Your Ground) clinging to Taylor when he's now clinging to Bey's impact because his own fave has barely any real cultural impact despite all of her success (hence why she's yet to sell 15 million albums worldwide despite being the most promoted artist in the past 10 years).
I fail to see Gaga's impact post 2011, her gimmicks aren't as appealing as they were back in 2009. Beyoncé on the other hand, is still capable of making impact 10+ y into her career, self-titled alone proved this, so...
The fact that we can even compare Lady Gaga, who debuted in 2008 and hit it big in 2009, to a '90s act who's still active today says a lot.
Gaga has made more of an impact internationally. Beyoncé in the U.S., maybe.
It also says a lot about Beyoncé and the fact that she was able to stay relevant for all this time, unlike her other 90s peers. Constantly having huge impact on pop culture for 18 years is way more impressive than having two good years.
No, DC (and Nsync) weren't viewed as Bey/JT back then. Pussycat Dolls have songs that are apart of ppl's childhood, but that doesnt mean Nicole Scherzinger has had impact
How old are you? DC was viewed as Beyonce. She sung 100% lead on all of DC's hits pre-Survivor, in which she still remained as the dominant lead singer. Not to mention, the reason DC3 even sustained was because Beyonce remained even after 3 group members left. It was accepted by the GP that everyone was replaceable except Beyonce.

“You know, I’ve never told Beyoncé this, but I remember laying on my grandmother’s couch crying, and a Destiny’s Child video came on,” she said. “I remember watching Beyoncé thinking, ’Oh, she’s a star. I want that.

If Gaga really has had more impact than Beyonce, why are you getting so defensive booboo? I was just asking an innocent question

Maybe not for JT, but you're either really young or really delusional to say Bey wasn't viewed and treated as a standout from the group.
2000 interview with Wendy where Beyoncé had to continually correct her from referring to the group as "Beyoncé and the girls..." and continually saying that was how they were seen.

Doing the same "gimmick", that Beyonce does, over and over again doesn't sound like impact imo..
People said the same about Bey after "4". I personally think Bey's "moment" is gone as well since she can't even score a top 10 hit worldwide despite locking up the biggest producers & songwriters up in her mansion for an entire month. I mean, she's become an album selling artist (only in the US, her album sold less than ARTPOP if we exclude English-speaking countries). She's kinda like a more famous Susan Boyle.
