People who act like listening to and enjoying Björk makes them superior music fans to those who genuinely aren't into that type of music really remind me of those 14-year-old Ugg wearing frapuccino sipping white girls* who take pride in being 'cultured' because they can rhyme off a handful of Marilyn Monroe quotes on the spot.

Nah, listening and enjoying Björk doesn't make anyone superior But it's kind of stupid to say recent artist X is better than her without even knowing about her
It would be like me saying Katy is better than Madonna, David Bowie or Bob Dylan, like
Björk is entry-level "alternative". That's why it's surprising when stans of "alternative" artists don't really know/use her.

And her only material that's not accessible (as in mainstream friendly) is Volta and Biophilia. Her first two albums are pop friendly too, I don't know why people think her music is so 'weird' and inaccessible, at least half of it is not
