Learn to take criticism & not try to "clock!" it when it was genuine as it was. I said I thought you guys had this challenge in the bag because I really like your lyrics, but I thought it was extra & unnecessary for you guys to go so over the top because it gets distracting and annoying.

I disagree. When it comes to serious illness, people more often than not sugarcoat the reality of the situation and ignore the impact of the disease on others around the victim. "Beautiful Dreamer" is written from the perspective of one close to an AIDS victim and drops all pretense about the emotions associated with and effects of AIDS.

I genuinely wish I had included a little "Dedicated to Diana" note in our entry.

I'm still confident with what my team wrote; I believe we did well.

Team 2's is odd to me. I understand the emotional appeal of it, but I think it's very clear they were hindered by inactive team members, and although the song is sweet, it feels a little subpar to what it could be.

I'm impressed with the writing of team 3's entry. Smoke & mirrors aside, it's good writing and I won't be surprised if they win.
