Not many artists nowadays are afraid to break borders. If you want to sell, you have to be radio-friendly and in order for that to occur you only have to look sexy and the vocals, writing, production, mixing, auto-tuning can be done for you. In Mariah's case, she has the looks but she trying to compete with Rihanna & Britney Spears whom as i mentioned before, have everything in studio done for them.
The Problem: Mariah is trying to sound 'now' that she has the 'in' producers the 'in' writers and 'in' sound to create a 'number 1', which won't work because most of her fans grew up liking
the
different IT factor that she gave them
very unfair and dissapointing in a way...
(i won't be buying MOAIA in that case, too much 'in' filler crap)
