It's really just a nod to herself though. Not really sure how that is building the show around a "certain person". I'm sure there's going to be people who genuinely don't like it, but we're really not even sure what her character goes through to say that this wont be a challenging role for her. I find the fact that she has similarities with the character she is playing to be a positive. Especially for her first true major role.

I was also right about there being a transgender, which I mentioned soon after Gaga was announced. I thought initially it would be Gaga, but Denis is doing that role. If it's set in modern day, and it's Ryan Murphy he is good at involving social issues, so for me that was a given.

I probably am reading to much into things, but the fact that Cole Porter was advertised as Dandy's songbook (Which was a big part of Cheek to Cheek), and the fact that he mentioned Anything Goes (the first track on Cheek to Cheek) Elsa always saying Scheiße (I also know she is german but it just fits)

I'm sure their were more.

"We're doing a two-part, well, we always do a two-part Halloween episode, but our Halloween episode this year is called 'Devil's Night,'" said Murphy. "I'm directing it because I love the script so much, when we finished it I said, 'I can't give this to anybody else.' Lily Rabe is coming to that episode. And she's playing Aileen Wuornos, which is really fun and bizarre. I don't want to give too much away but I will tell you that she's at the centerpiece of that, and that's who she's playing."
