I actually love the album, all of her albums really. I just feel that none of the songs on it have that deep of a meaning attachted to it. Just a bunch of "bops" as some of you would call them. Magnificent bops, but bops none the less. The only two songs on it I feel, really have a deeper meaning and passion to them are Resentment and Flaws and All.

Dangerously in Love is a good album and a solid debut. It's her 4th best. IASF is the atrocity.
I'd say :
- BEYONCE
- 4
- B'Day
- DIL
- IASF

Yea DIL in definatly my favorite. I can listen to the entire thing straight through. Dangerously In Love, Be With You, Baby Boy, Me, Myself and I, and Signs kill entire discographies imo. I think she does R&B and Funk better than she does Pop so that's why I think DIL and 4 are her best. Although I do love BEYONCE, I feel that it's a little overrated, well just not my style. Call me a prude, but i'm not much of a fan of sexually explicit songs except for a few exceptions. Everything on that album I either love or downright hate. For instance
Pretty Hurts: Loved It
Drunk In Love: Hated It
Blow: Loved It
No Angel: Loved It
Partition: Hated It
Jealous: Loved It
XO: Loved It
Superpower: Loved It
Flawless: Hated It
Heaven: Loved It
Blue: Loved It
Grown Woman: Loved It
7/11: Hated It
Ring Off: Loved It

The Queen's Best Albums In Order :
BEYONCE (2013)
This album is probably the album that Beyonce's has been wanting to do for quite a while now. It's probably the album she's been the most involved in making. You have to look at the bigger picture, its not just another album, its "THE VISUAL ALBUM". Beyonce had a vision, and she did everything in her hands to make sure that her vision came to life. She wanted you to experience the songs with the vision that's in her head. I will admit that I'm not a big fan of Pretty Hurts, but it ties in with the themes, with embracing imperfection being one of them. A lot of the videos were not planned or choreographed, she gave her first impulse on videos such as Drunk in Love, Blue, Xo. It's has social context all over it, its not just another album to jam to, but also a conversation starter, with its feminist theme, that had politicians talking, that's crucial. It brought feminism to the forefront in 2013-2014. Now everyone is coming forth and declaring themseleves a femenist, Miley, Taylor, etc. Its regarded as the most sexually explicit album since Madonna's erotica. It has cameos and features, with her husband, her baby, her mom, her sister, her bestfriends, her team, and band, it has songs that we know for a fact, pertain to her, and even the videos reference her past videos. It's R&B, its funk, its pop, its alternative, its just her sound. Don't get me started with the good lyrical writing. It's simply her best. It's her message. It started trends. The Surprise Release! Even the album cuts like Superpower, Rocket, Heaven are good! Yonce and Partition, Ghost Haunted, Blow, Bow Down Flawless! I will admit that as part of the rerelease, 7/11 and Ring off seem unnecessary! It might have made it lost points if part of the original tracklisting, but they still tie in! even though Ring Off messed the visual album aspect! To Be Continued.....

You better let them know about DiL. Honestly, people probably rate DiL cause it's purely R&B/Soul, and y'all know how people a'int here for that genre.

This album is genius to me. Letting Pretty Hurts start the album will have the listeners thinking they are gonna hear another pop album but then she flips the script with Ghost. I think the Yoncé personality was born with that track/video because after that she gets super sexual.

It better not be real cause it's basically the same ****. I like the RTW-Flawless-Yonce section in general, but give us something new. And MM&I seems so random, like if you're going to give us DiL songs, give us more.

Yeah okay I totally see what you mean. If you don't like explicit Yoncé you're not gonna like Partition or DrIL, especially since BEYONCE is one of the most explicit female albums of the decade. It's actually quite the contrary for me, I loved her sexually explicit songs. You don't seem to love Urban Beyoncé either since you hate DrIL/Partition/***Flawless and 7/11, well it's a matter of taste.

That's exactly what happened to me. When I listened to Pretty Hurts for the first time I thought that it was good but quite basic. Then Ghost/Haunted came and slayed my soul
