She was never a big thing in Europe before IKYWT and only exploded after 1989, that's why I only stan for her since Blank Space, one of the best pop songs ever. At this point I feel like she could release anything from 1989, even the Voice Memos, and they still would slay. The album is just so good. I need her to release OOTW though before this era ends, it has so much smash potential that can't be missed :woo party:
My other main fav is Lady Gaga, but I also like Adele, Mariah, Rihanna, Sia, Lorde and Nicki.

Yeah Bad Blood isn't only about the dancers either. Both were relationships that just didn't work and at some point you have to draw the line.

1989's a totally different situation. Massively successful, unavoidable. Beloved by critics and the public. Single-handedly ruling, changing, saving the industry. A year-defining, career-defining album. It has great odds.

I went into 1989 wanting Bad Blood and AYHTDWS be my feel songs but it turned out ot Be IWYW and Clean
When I saw the tracklist, I actually hated AYHTDWS. It just didn't sound convincing and I thought it'd be a filler track. But damn, I have never been so wrong.
I like both IWYW and Clean though - Clean not so much (being the only slow song on the album aside from This Love, it got kind of overshadowed), but IWYW is quite flawless.
