Shake it off is disgusting garbage but so is roar. Literally the worst two pop singles of the last 2 years. Even Work Bitch and Applause was better. I honestly can't understand how people love them, personally can't find a single redeeming quality in them. I even prefer Part Of Me and You Belong With Me to those two.
There's like nobody big releasing this year so SIO will probably end up bigger than Roar.

Ariana basically ended the careers of every pop girl last year (despite My Everything selling worse than ARTPOP with BTW-sized payola). Her hits were just too big to ignore. There isn't much room now.
