Think I might've found the perfect economy settings
Testing it now. I've been trying for a while and my UK, Europe, Canada, Latin America and Asia sales have been accurate but the US and Oceania sales weren't.
It's not that hard sis. What I did was leave the modifiers as they are in the original database, increase all the economies to 100% and put all barriers at zero. Everything works perfectly and the sales are realistic.

I did that and the sales weren't realistic for me. I had a random band at 30% popularity (with no charting singles) sell 250k first week in the US when I was expecting like 50k max. But in the real world we have artists like Gaga and Katy who are much more popular only selling that amount with hit singles.
What settings would people recommend for economy? I'm planning on starting from 2000 so I'd like something that accurately represents that era for sales.
Are there any of these on Mac? Alternatively, how do I use this Wine thing?
I used to play it using Wine but that was with an older version. I removed it and tried to install a newer version and it didn't work I just play it on my laptop now even if it is slow af. Also I'm not sure how I would install the Real World mod on Mac.
I think Antuan mentioned that in the future you'll be able to buy a separate Mac version and said he would upload it on Wednesday (this was a few weeks ago) but maybe he was talking about something else.

But I'd recommend changing all the economies to falling after setting them to 100% to take into account the fall in sales from 2000 onwards. Also, you might want to change the modifiers for singles to lower them a little (but only do this if you know what you're doing).

I'm trying to install the demo on my Mac using Wine but I have no clue how to do this, so the installer keeps getting up at 'Moving Files'. I'm not sure if I'm just impatient, but I waited a bit and it wouldn't move.

Mine gives up at that point too. I left it for like 30 mins and it still didn't finish so I assume it doesn't work. The only other solution is to buy Parallels or that other one but I'm not paying like £50 to play a £10 game on my Mac.

MWR3 introduces the "screaming" skill to better represent hardcore metal bands! Similar to the singing and rapping skills, screaming will be calculated into a band's ability as it's own independent variable. Now you can properly include bands like Metallica or maybe even my personal favorite, Yoko Ono.

I'm adding a screenshot shortcut key (ctrl + s) to MWR3 and I'm wondering if folks would be interested in having it sooner. Particularly those who are interested in creating more dynasties/journals of MWR2? If so, say the word. Otherwise, you will see it in the next game.
