I'm an optimist, so I'd like to think that if someone passes an interview/screening process of some kind and their professional career depends upon their critiques of art, their reviews will be on the average more rewarding and insightful than a random sampling of tumblr users.
The only reviewer I can stand is the needledrop but I take some of his reviews with a grain of salt as sometimes he has no idea what the hell he's talking about. Most times he's pretty much on point.

If you namecheck almost any of the writers you'll see they're actual full-time music journalists. It's hardly like they're some randos off the street.

It's not frantic, it's monotonous. There isn't even a trace of urgency or e•mo•tion in her voice.
