Rainbow Bridge World Agency (Mamamoo's company) earned 7 billion won ( ~ $ 5Millions) cause of investement. YASSS MAMAMOO are definetely sure to comeback.
In this economy we have to watch the company bank account to stan for a group, I mean an AFTER SCHOOL situation isn't cute.
“That is true. For the past seven to eight years, my artists have appeared in SBS shows mostly. People think like that maybe because I am the judge for SBS TV’s “K-Pop Star” show. However, that does not mean that YG has some trouble with KBS or MBC. It’s just because SBS’s stage production suits the best with the direction we pursue, and it is not a matter of whether YG has a bad relation with any of the broadcasters. YG has long been refraining from having performances in TV music shows. Plus, since we do that only once or twice a week, we tend to choose SBS and Mnet whose stage production creates the best harmony with YG. If my artists should have performances in other music shows, too, they will have no time for any other thing than TV performances. Then, they will not have the time and energy to do something new.”

- I heard that even PSY is afraid of you.
“I want to be his closest elder brother, but at the same time, I wanna be the person who puts the biggest sense of burden on him. I think popular singers should have a big sense of responsibility and the label’s role is to make him practice self-control and follow rules strictly. Of course I have big affection and respect for all my artists, but I still believe that I should keep some distance from them. That applies to the relationship between a child and parents, too.”

- YG’s market capitalization has surpassed 800 billion, what is your dream as a businessman?
“It is clear that my dream is not accumulation of wealth or expansion of business. As I have been asked that question a lot recently, I myself have thought about what my dream is, and nowadays, I think I wanna be a patriot. In the past, patriotic martyr Yoo Kwan-Soon or Ahn Joong-Geun were regarded as great men, but as we are not in war now, I think the one who promotes Korea in the world or who earns a lot of foreign money is a patriot of our times. Of course, I didn’t begin my music career to be a patriot, but I think the role I can play in my current circumstances with my current status is to promote Korea’s music and culture widely throughout the world. I have this kind of ambition to be the world’s No.1, not the No.1 only in Korea, and PSY and BIGBANG are playing such a role well enough, I believe.”

- What should young people do first to be successful like YANG HYUN SUK?
“First and foremost, you must find the thing you like the most. You cannot win a person who does the job he loves. You can be crazy about your job only when you love it, and you should be crazy about your job first to do it well. Secondly, when other people recognize what I do well and when they like what I like, that could be called success.”
Lesson's from Korea's Entertainment Industry #1 top earning CEO. Very inspirational even if you don't like the man.
