What do we think authentic 80s music sound like? 1989? EMOTION?
1989 is the furthest from it. EMOTION is MUCH closer. Reboot by far has the most authentic 80s synthpop/rock sound. Play that album for anyone born/raised in the 80s and they'd think it was straight from that era!
Omg why am I getting dragged, it's not like I'm a 5 year old here. Like I haven't been part of the 8924729875 80s partees that our generation throws every week, it's so tiring and bland.
The 80s was great for non-mainstream pop and a few others here and there, but let's no act like Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, A-Ha, Wham!, The Human League, Culture Club, The Village People, Men at Work, (David Bowie), Journey, Eurythmics, Blondie, Cyndi Lauper etc. weren't all putting out the same generic, synth-onlylead beats and scrapping tacky lyrics on top.
OF COURSE there were artists releasing amazing music still, but I don't see Wonder Gods emulating anything other than those linear, flat beats that the true highlights (Madonna, Michael, Fleetwood, (Cher), Sade, Kate Bush) were striving to avoid.

Not you coming for the Legendary Cyndi Lauper
Rest in piss Bauer
What can I say, I'm not a fan of sonically-flat, simple music and prefer the diverse, never-ending expanse of sounds we have available to us today. We would never have gotten a My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, LP1, or The ArchAndroid back in the 80s so personally I'd rather not revisit that savage time authentically.

Luna looks so ****ing good on her instagram. Victoria is still posting pictures of her trip to London. Either that bitch needs to hurry up and get her ass back to the SM building and start slaving in that dance studio for their comeback or SM need to rightfully let f(3) begin with leader Luna already.
