Everyday I discover something new about it. Today the "die for each other" line struck me as odd and overly dramatic in a song about a Summer fling. But then I realized that what Demi is saying with that Romeo & Juliet reference is that teenagers overdramatize everything. To them something as inconsequential as a Summer fling can mean the whole world. Everything is drama and a matter of life or death at that age.
I don't think I've peeled all the song's layers yet. I wonder what other wonders and marvels I will find.
