It's more than enough but forgettable songs like Broken knee and cute songs like sometimes kept it from selling more.

Baby one more time sold the album for the first six months. Sometime rose and peaked QUICKLY.
Crazy surged sales back and had longevity (for Britney at least).

Two songs sold the album consistently two could have been replaced with songs that would have sold the album more.

That's all.

14x platinum and 30M WW is amazing. I think it could have gone as high as 16x platinum though.

Keep in mind it was normal for the entire top 10 (which she stayed for 51 weeks) to sell 100k on a weekly basis.

Yeah she only needed single CDs for BOMT and Thinkin about u

The only song that should have had a CD was Oops.

At this point, Stans would buy the album & single (for the remixes).

Oops went to #1 on pop in June.

All they needed to do was release the single 2 weeks after the album when the song peaked at #1 on pop.

They released a limited edition which I purchased and it had like 5 remixes.

every other song didn't need a CD single release.

that said, it wouldn't have made a big difference. Again stans would buy both the album and single
