Those are just people trying to make money from her imagery without her permission. Not sure why you would characterise them as fans, when real fans would stop exploiting her images for their own gain, once they had been notified in a cease and desist letter.
In the field of sports merchandising, if someone start selling goods based on the specific image rights of a team/player without permission, then they can get sued. Every person selling merchandise knows that. Are you gonna start crying about how football clubs sue their own fans cos they protect their brand from unauthorised profiteering?
We live in a world where brand protection and trademark laws exists. Folks need to deal with it and stop acting as if Taylor is somehow acting outside the norm here. If folks want to illegally sell merchandise then go for it, but don't bleat when you get sued and paint her as a villain. Grow up or change the law.
I could print off some pictures of any celeb and create a calendar and make bank from it. Of course if the celeb found out I was doing this, they would sue me if I didn't shut down. Throwing my toys out of the pram and complaining about the celeb wouldn't change the fact that I was exploiting their imagery without permission for financial gain. And that is illegal.
I love it how 3 million people have said nice things about her but the one who tells the truth is the only one who says otherwise. ATRL will never change
