I clearly just typed four whole paragraphs on the issue. If you disagree, do me a favor and just say why, respond to the post, show us another viewpoint - simply saying you just don't get it doesn't help us change our minds any.

I guess.

This. I am appalled by the insensitivity and mockery of the Christian values that takes place here.

I'm so glad you're up to Kylie now. I guess you're going in alphabetical order? Lana must be next

Not that I necessarily disagree with your post, but I'm just curious: would calling Rihanna "Allah" for example therefore be acceptable then since it's derived from the nickname "Rihallah"?

Well, the word Goddess has been used since the 16th Century (as a non-religious metaphor) to refer to a woman of beauty. Several artists have used the word Goddess or variations of it, like Kylie, Gaga, Cher etc. So I wouldn't immediately connect the word with religion, but I guess it depends on context and on the use. I have a feeling people are going to start being messy with all these honorary titles now, after reading HQ, so i'd be careful.

"Goddess ______" should be fine, yes, assuming the actual name isn't mangled.

I mean yes, but good luck getting anyone to know what you're talking about.
Plus if you troll with it, you can be warned for that.

Queen or King has nothing to do with religion.

Like Retro said, The Lord is not exclusive to Christianity and has tons of other uses, many non-religious ones as well. It's not like The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars' Dark Lord, etc. are offensive.
It is very annoying, but that's all it is. We'd have to bring back the Annoying warning, but people always hated that one cause it was so subjective.

Annoying, Stanning, and Pointless are all warning categories I would hate to use.

Now that I think about it, no, Allah in "Rihallah" isn't acceptable, that's a clearly specific reference. Sorry!

I'm sure you would warn it, even when it's not trolling. Thanks for the warning.

Except with 'Allah', you may offend Muslims because of how specific you are being to the language.
'The Lord' on the other hand is a very general word that all religions can use refering to their god. Also, 'Lord' doesn't only have religious meanings. Lord is basically someone of a higher power. It can be the Lord of a castle, the Lord of a city, the Lord of an object, etc. In this case, we should really read 'The Lord' as 'The Queen'.

But it's important to take into account the context in which the word is being used isn't it? I mean, I've been warned for the tone of my post being offensive or something like that before

The double standards. I remember when that member was forced to remove his Allah sig but apparently you can mock the Lord and Saviour left and right.
