Queen or King has nothing to do with religion.

What bothers me about this idea is that it's not just one religion that uses "Lord" as a title for their deity (
source); at the same time, that title actually doesn't necessitate religious connotation (despite the fact that Swifties clearly use it as such).
I don't feel it sets the right precedent to ban its usage because some people refer to their deity in the same way; with that path of logic, it should follow that we also disallow comparing pop stars and deities, which is common and harmless stanning. We also shouldn't favor one particular religion, considering almost all justification for banning the nickname comes with Christian backing, but that's really neither here nor there.
At the same time, like Kworb said, we would essentially have to create a special exception saying that the range of common titles as nicknames are permissible, besides the single and particular nickname "The Lord" for Taylor Swift. Is it really justified, therefore, for us to single out a particular fanbase just because of the title they use when it's derived from their fave's actual name (through the less-permissible nickname TayLord)?
It's not really a cut and dry issue. I don't think it's at all "offensive" enough to warrant special action - some people may be uncomfortable with its use, but that's a product of their upbringing and environment that hinges on the use of a title. Its not insulting to the religion, and it's honestly not even pointedly blasphemous since so many other religions and followings use it.
