I've tried to be more active in the Games section but most of the hosts never PM the players once the game has started. Plus a lot of them just happen at random times so it's hard to keep checking up on.

Element's handling of Let's Spoon S4 was really great and should be how all the games are ran imo. It's easy to remember to check the thread.

It's a lot of hard work to host a Game, usually they don't send out PM's. It's up to the contestant to show an interest and check the thread, if you have to keep telling people to post in there, not much point of having it open lol.
They happen at random times because everyone has a different time-zone and they aren't usually live Games, usually you have a few days to play, hence why you can check it at any time.

I'm mainly talking about to just start the game. I signed up for a bunch of games a few months ago and never got a PM when they started. If I knew when they started I would've participated.

No shade/disrespect to any of the hosts I understand it's hard work but a lot of people simply forget that they signed up or just don't know about it. I'm hosting a Ciara rate right now and I'm PMing everyone that signed up seeing if they're still gonna participate. If the game isn't super popular already it most likely won't actually start because of that.
