The whole video was representing different styles of dance, and there were definitely black women in other shots than just the hop-hop ones.

Anaconda is soooo much better than Bad Blood. While Blank Space might be better than Anaconda, Taylor wasn't as invested in it as Nicki is Anaconda. In fact, Taylor was the worst thing about Blank Space with her terrible acting. Can't stand both of them, but this is true.

The fact that Nicki even broke the record is enough for at least a nomination. Her being provocative is irrelevant in this case, since Miley was literally BUTT NAKED and still won it last year.

Again, that's a matter of opinion, not backed up by facts at all.

Bad Blood is a #1 smash. It has one of the highest spin counts in Pop radio history. Anaconda flopped on the radio and was a weak seller. VOTY does not usually go to middling "hits."

I'd say they're about equal. Anaconda's "fame" was frontloaded & didn't last. Taylor's has been steady & remains popular.
And Taylor broke Anaconda's record, too, so why would Anaconda be nominated over it?

If its based off of success, then Taylor isnt winning anyway, Uptown Funk is. The award itself may not go to light taps, but a nomination isnt too much to ask. It was still one of the most impactful videos of the past year. I mean, Alright and 7/11 were nominated. They could have taken one of those out, bc Anaconda is more deserving.
