She really didn't position herself as the good guy, and it's showing in the media's response. Her tone was patronizing, ESPECIALLY in that uuuber passive aggressive second tweet. She's being labeled the entitled white girl.
And that's EXACTLY how I would have handled the situation
She (rightfully) felt attacked and responded in a bitchy way, like each and every one of us would have done. It's human nature and it sucks that celebs have to censor themselves and check with god knows how many publicists and image gurus before they send a simple tweet. Nicki lucked out. Not cuz she's right, because she brought up a touchy, v topical issue and happened to benefit from it because of the color of her skin.
