What Nicki Minaj is saying is right. Her video Anaconda was everywhere, everybody was talking about it. It should have been nominated for Video Of The Year.

and I think Taylor Swift responded because Nicki tweeted she was going to go up stage to win her awards regardless indicating she was going to pull a Kanye if she did not win. I guess Taylor felt like that tweet was directed towards her.

Exactly. I wont deny racism is a thing because it is, and it's a very important issue at that!

But Nicki HAS BEEN tweeting about how if she was "another kind of artist", "a skinny girl", etc., she would be nominated, as if the VMAs had some kind of bias against her even when every label that you could apply to Nicki (female, black, foreigner, rapper) has been nominated both this year and the last one. The VMAs didnt think her video was more deserving than the others and so they didnt nominate her. Is it a bad decision? Maybe, but it has nothing to do with racism, sexism, etc.

But she also instagramed best collab which features multiple skinny white women and a video with 2 black women (FM) just happened to have been snubbed so that clearly could've also been apart of her discussion topic.
What does using gender less terms have to do with this and how would it benefit my/her argument

the celebrating skinny girls gets you nominated was the one that caught her attention probably or more accurately had people tag her in it

thats why nicki deleted it she knew she ****ed up
