Would anyone here actually vote any Ed Sheeran video over Anaconda? No. Of course Nicki feels entitled, because she is entitled and self-obsessed, but she's not stupid and knows when she's being ripped. The most important issue is race.
Gather what sis? Her song/vid was clearly about the celebration of bigger women so she would obviously throw some shade at the opposite as nothing else nominated fit the message her video had. Taylor had no right to assume and come for Nicki
Here, ask yourself this: When did this stop being about a VMA?
The answer: When Taylor Swift called Nicki Minaj out for her comments. As soon as Swift directly replied to Minaj, and verbally hit her in the face with a suitcase, that was when Minaj was immediately taken aback -- she was scared, panicked, and then, and only then, was when Minaj turned to her last resort: talking about race, and media, and Tidal. She didn't mention these topics until after Taylor Swift knocked her out. Just look at the tweets; I'm not making this stuff up, kids.
And that's what you need to realize, son. That Nicki Minaj doesn't really care about these racial issues, she was just backed into a corner by Taylor Swift's comments and needed a way out, and her only saving grace was falling back on the race card.
