Taylor ascends the stairs to the stage to accept her latest award. She bounces about in an ungainly fashion in an unconvincing attempt to appear down to earth. Equally unconvincing is Katy's attempt to be magnanimous. She rolls her eyes while Taylor makes a faux breathless speech, making sure that the cameras are not on her as she does so. Her eyes widen with glee as she sees Nicki stride quickly towards the stage - the rapper's face twitching with manic anger. Nicki elbows the security away and claws the award out of Taylor's grip. Taylor briefly looks furious, but quickly composes her features into polite bewilderment. Nicki begins to rant Trinidadianly about how she deserves awards for shaking her voluptuous rear and curses the white industry executives for forcing her to wear pink wigs for three years. She shouts out to the audience for a supportive word from Beyoncé. The cameras pan to Ms Knowles looking embarrassed and as if Nicki hadn't spent the whole previous evening telling her her plans to storm the stage. The camera moves to Rihanna on her mobile, completely unaware of the debacle. Taylor makes sure to lean into the microphone as she tells Nicki she has nothing but respect for her, and says that the rapper will surely win an award some day. Nicki runs forward to spit in her face, but is taken out by security who lunge and pin her to the ground.

Now, now, Iggy is still a bigger loser than anyone in this situation regardless. Garbaj may be performing to half-empty venues, but at least she's still performing somewhere.
