VMA's is a mix of popularity and quality. Uptown Funk's video isn't really quality at all, yet it's nominated because it had such a huge popularity and cultural impact. Same can be said with 7/11? Shake It Off was still a huge video, had cultural impact, and was the lead video to the biggest era of the past year. So yeah, I was expecting 1 nomination atleast.
